Damn. RIP Tex Winter

I wish I had the time to write a full fanpost about it [it is 75 words so it counts -yfbb]

One of the most important people in franchise history and one that always seemed like such a great guy, went from the youngest head coach in the NCAA to someone totally at peace with being "merely" the offensive guru behind 9 championship teams. Luke Walton and Steve Kerr talking about how he tried to get them minutes early in their careers. He could be brutally frank sometimes in talking about their flaws but how many guys are going to get unqualified praise for years and years and years from the likes of Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant?
